Wanted some of you guys to know I would be off for a few days. My wife is having surgery next thursday but with luck will be able to come home Saturday. With all things there are risks but I feel good about it and me and the ole man up stairs been talking so Im ok with it.
Its not a surgery like most its a gastric by-pass which our insurance wouldnt cover but we felt she needed it so paid out of pocket, and let tell you you can buy alot of radio's for $18,000 bucks. We felt like this was the only way for her to live a long life due to her diabetes and high blood pressure so here we go! Thanks to all CRAFTER, John, kc5djb

Crafter, I know I'm new to this forum. My family has our prayers out for you and your wife. Tell her to have a safe and speedy recovery. Someone needs to look after the old man. (Only Kiddin') Hope to talk on the air sometime... Conditions not too great in SD right now... Anyways, take care and god bless...

Crafter, I wish your wife the best and hope her recovery goes well. I understand how you must feel, my wife just had surgery in July. Take care of yourself as well, she will need you strong to help her recover!
