CEF Net, INFORMATION!
(Copper Electronic's Forum) Net.
The "OFFICIAL" Home / Stand By Channel for CEF MEMBERS will be Channel: #13 / 27.115 "LSB" (Lower Side Band).
This Net will be held Every SUNDAY at:
12pm ~ Eastern Time Zone
11am ~ Central Time Zone
10am ~ Mountain Time Zone
9am ~ Pacific Time Zone
The OFFICIAL CEF NET (CB) FREQUENCY, will be Channel 13 / 27.115 LSB (Lower Side Band.)
NOTE!
We have also started a CEF "10 Meter" (HAM) net starting 1 hour after the start of the Regular CEF Net on 28.360 "USB" (Upper Side Band)
NOTE!
To Participate in the 10 Meter Net's you MUST be a Tech Plus or Above FCC Licensed Ham Operator.
CEF 10 Meter Net Controller's are:
EAST COAST Net Control: / CEF #132 - 10M# - 2 / Bruce ~ WA4GCH
MID-WEST Net Control: / CEF #558 - 10M# - 14 / Moderator558 ~ KC9ANQ
WEST COAST Net Control: / CEF #833 - 10M# - 1 / Tech833 ~ KG6AOH
CEF Net Controller's for the Regular CEF NET's.
MIDWEST " Net Control: Tech808 ~ CEF #808 "
EAST COAST " Net Control: IRONMASK ~ CEF #100 "
WEST COAST " Net Control: ALSWORLD ~ CEF #101 "
All of those wishing to participate in the CEF NET, will be issued a CEF Call Sign / Number.
These Call Signs / Numbers will be issued on a first come / first served basis.
By having, EAST COAST / CENTRAL / and WEST COAST Net Controller's, we should be able to cover the entire U.S. if condition's are good.
If the condition's are not good this will allow to to still have a chance to check into the NET for your Area.
We have also developed a Special Area for the CEF Net Member's. "CEF NET CONNECTION'S" Here in the Forum for member's.
To apply for your: CEF NET Call Sign / Number, PLEASE e-mail me direct at: Tech808@copperelectronics.com
PLEASE include the following information when applying for your CEF Number."
#1 ~ Your Full Name
#2 ~ Your Copper Fourm Name / Handle
#3 ~ Your City & State
#4 ~ Your Correct e-mail address
#5 ~ Your CEF Call Sign / Number will be e-mailed back to you.
NOTE!
If you are also applying for a CEF 10 METER # please include your Ham Call Sign, Issue Date and Experation date.

Will join you on both nets when work allows/ Working in a hotel/retseraunt I dont get many weekends off. I do know that come summer I'll be off most Sundays for racing so will try to log in from the race track. |

Well my loving son I fully understand.
When I seen you sitting on that corner that day holding that sign saying ANYBODY WANT TO ADOPT ME?
I looked at your sad worn clothes and the tears running down your face and said Hey Lon, why don't we adopt him, rather than going to the dog pound and getting that dog named Lucky.
You know the one we showed you with, 1 eye, 1 leg, no tail, no teeth, and tongue hanging out.
(Since you both looked alike anyway and I figured you were already house broken.)
And he agreed, we felt you needed our Love more.
Even though we did give you the Nick Name "Lucky!"
When 808 and I adopted you at 57 years of age we understood that maybe you had some minor problem's with you other 7 set's of parent's and your 9 wives and 43 children.
It has been a strain on us at Christmas but we don't mind.
Looking forward to talking with you again tomorrow on the CEF Net Lucky.

Hey all, we will be going over to the folks' for "lunch", should be here for the beginning of the net. I will check the frequency when I get home to see if anyone is still on. Hope everyone has a good NET day. The way the skip has been running, I should think it will be a good one.

I was mobile in North Mississippi and heard CEF # 197 calling dx. He heard me one time but we could not communicate. These conditions are sorry.

You must have been the one that tried to return my call of CQ? But all I was hearing was my call number and then it dropped off to noise?
What radio and antenna were you using? If you were the one of two people I could not quite hear, it was a pretty strong signal!

Ca346, we have talked once before; in fact, you're the only CEF member I've ever been able to contact. I was mobiling in the hills of Northwest Mississippi near Sardis Lake. I'm running a President Lincoln and a Larson trunk mount. My antenna seems to be very directional. Being on the truck evidently doesn't give full omni coverage. I'm supposed to know that, huh? Why do we do things we should know better than not to do? Anyway you were coming very loud several times on me. Maybe we'll make the hookup again one day. Conditions will have to improve someday.
