Skywalker975,

Suggestion,

VR-12 ~ Adjust for MAXIMUM Modulation.

VR-13 AM HIGH Power Adjustment
VR-16 AM LOW Power Adjustment

NO need to cut anything.

Hope this helps.

Skywalker all you need to do if it is a new Connex 3300 is add a power mic ( but keep it on the lowest on the volume on the mic ) and turn up the mod on the radio !!! now if it is one of the older Connex radios just use the stock mic and turn up the mod and youll be happy !!!!!!

just my 2 cent !!!!!!!!
