It's the weekend Dude. Chill. Your Davemade does not work, that blows. So what is the question?? Radio/antenna and Palamar work, Davemade does not. So what is your question? Is this equipment used? power supply? Heck man, you asked, so what is the question you want answered? Punching ham's because you don't ask a question makes no sense????? Ask a legitimate question and you shall be answered. It's not a ham/CB thing on this website except under the "Legal Discussions" Topic. Okay I'll start. How are you trying to run this setup? Base or mobile? I'll assume base with the radio and antenna. The DaveMade, what type of power supply do you have, or is it a base amp? Alsworld |

Mdiver, Ok you say you have a New 2547 so you know it works and it works with your Palamar, and if they both work with your Antenna then that make's it very simple it is the dave made amp that is not working. Is it a New amp, Used amp, do you know if it worked before you tried it with the 2547. If you bought it used it could have chucked itself before you got it. You say you just got it (Dave Made) again did you buy it new or used from someone, If new they can check it out for you, If it was used then you need to find out What Kind of Dave made Amp it is. Trying to guess what is wrong with an Amp with No information like, What Model, What Size, New, Used, Ever seen it work, Never seeen it work, High Drive or Low drive, is impossible. As you are New to the Forum it takes a while to try and find every post. There are 700 to 900+ Post's to the Forum per week. NONE of the Moderator's or Techs are employed By Copper. We Donate out time to try and help when & where we can & when time allows as we all also have Full Time Jobs & Families. I would guess maybe less than 5% of the 2307 Forum Members own or have owned a Dave Made Amp. That makes it harder. To get help you need to post as much information as you can / have on the problems you are having and then someone can try and help. If the dave made is a High drive amp you may not have enough power in the 2547 to drive it. If it is a Low Drive amp you could have blown it the first time you keyed the Mic. More information is needed to even make a guess at what might be wrong. Be it Ham or CB makes NO Difference! Lon Tech808

I'd get in touch with Davemade, tell them your amp is DOA, and from what I've heard, they will take care of you. You might have to eat the shipping costs, but that shouldn't be too bad. If they don't honour their warranty, let us know, at least you will make others aware that they sell junk and don't back it. I guess before you do all that make darn sure you are hooking it up correctly, feeding it with enough current, and that your jumpers are in good shape and all that good stuff, if you haven't already done so. |

In my experience Davemade has excellent customer service. You can call them and they will actually listen to you, and treat you like a real human being. I hope you get the same service from them that I have. |

Mr Gunn might be a little arrogant but if there is a defect he'll make it right. I have never had a problem with a Davemade amp that I didn't cause. |
