Was the AR 3500 made in a 30W version AND a 100W version???? or Is the AR 3300 the 30W version and the AR 3500 the 100W version??? Thanks for the clarification and info. XLAXX |

The AR 3300 was Clear Channel’s first radio, the AR3500 came out later, much improved over the 3300. They both came in 30 watt and 100 watt versions. I scanned this page from a Copper catalog that I have from the late 1980s. The HR 2510 and 2600 are shown, the RCI 2900, this was before the 2950 came out, and the AR 3500, it is priced for the 30 watt and 100 watt version. |

I have saved the picture added by ScrapIron. I also have an AR3500. I really didn't realize what a great radio it was until AFTER I bought it. In fact I also have the HR2510... Amazing history on both radios. |
