Can anyone tell me where I can find plans to myself a preamp?? I have a homebrew amp and it does not have one built into it and would like to do so. Many Thanks

If you aren't looking for real high quality and want to install it in the amp, you could check out some schematics for the Palomars or Macos...ect. That will give you a parts list and installation location. I picked up a tuneable preamp with adjustable gain from Palomar Engineers. One advantage of the exteral preamps is you can run them without the amplifier on and the adjustable gain is nice also.
