It is about 1:00pm on Friday right now and up here in Duchess Country New York it is freezzzzzing. We are in the state of a Winter Storm watch. Over the next two days we are suppose to get up to 18 inches of snow. All I can say is SNOWMOBILE here I come. I am suppose to go up north near Bellare Ski center for the last day of deer hunting this year with the rifle. On Sunday but I might not go to the expense of the weather. How is the weather in everone elses state or country for the next couple days. FOX |

It's cloudy, dark, damp, and about 55 degrees here in Jacksonville, Florida. All this is supposed to blow out and clear up. The temp will tumble into the low 30's with high's only being in the mid 50's this weekend. Radio conditions are pretty much zip right now. You read right, near freezing in Florida. We get roller coaster style weather this time of year, one day it's 70 and the next it's in the 30's. It's funny to watch the news here, when it gets cold it's the Top Story! BTW, I like it cold here, it keeps the warm weather weenies off the streets! |

Fox, To your south east in NYC we have piles of the white stuff all over the place. Easily six inches have fallen since mid morning and though it appears to be slowing down, it's still falling. Oh, the best part is that it's the heavy soggy kind of snow. You know, the stuff that packs under foot and turns to ice over night. I was out on the roads at about noon EST and even in my 4wd SUV I was sliding. What a mess. 73 Barracuda |

Bad weather stinks. Just found a neighbor face down in the snow on her front deck. Not looking good. More snow on the way! |

BTW, I just found out that my neighbor passed. Apparently she fell and could not get up, eventually succumbed to hypothermia. The sad part is that that whole process took less than 1/2 hour. Mother nature is a powerful thing that we all sometimes ignore or take for granted. We use her benevolent ways to talk coast to coast on our radios. But she has her dark side too. Something to remember always. |
