I have used the COPPER "Lil Willie" on my SUV. It's only good for local talking tho. Not much good for DX. But I can leave it on the roof and it stays there without too much clanging (whap, Whap, Whap against the roll-up) when I drive into the garage.... |

i have one of those huge radioshack whips thatare like 106 inches long. My dad won't let that on his truck, how about the wilson trucker 5000? |

CA346 I have the Nissian Pathfinder, and I put a quick release on my rear left side bumper, with a 4 foot firestick and it clears the garage door ok. |

The Willson5k will work fine. If it is the short 6" shaft, install it with a mag mount on the roof. |

Karate: I wanted to have a good solid metal base for the antenna, so that's why I went with the COPPER Little Willie. It bends easily against the rollup. On my Toyo pick-up I have the COPPER Wilson 1000 roof mount which is great for DX (Australia), but I have to remove it to put it in the garage. How high above the roof of the pathfinder is the tip of the 4 ft firestick? |

About one half foot, with the extension of the quick release added, very good swr. Talks to Flordia etc, and ships at Sea |
