I friend gave me a Cheeta cb radio. It is a mobile, a very large one at that. I need a mic for it does anyone have any info on this radio?
It is an ssb radio. Has a male two pin mic plug on the radio.

Well it was made by Pearce Simpson, and nice old radios in their day, and like you said, BIG. I think I have one in the junk pile radios. I'll look today and see if I have any other information on them.

Well I believe Pearce-Simpson made a Cheetah and a Super Cheetah. The first was a crystal controlled 23 channel, the other a PLL 40 channel. Here's the tuneup for the super cheetah, haven't found anything yet on the other one.

Pearce-Simpson Super Cheetah:
VR5-AMC,(modulation)
VR10-AM Power
VR6-ALC (ssb power)
