I am Creating this Topic Area so it will make it easier for Alsworld / CEF #101.

As his online time is Very Limited, this will make it much easier for him to check for Comment's & Post's to Him from the Copper Forum Members.

Should the need arise, I will also make an Area for Other Copper Forum Member's who are on Active Duty with our Armed Forces and Deployed Serving our Country.

Thanks Karatebutcher! Yeah I manage to get on the internet infrequently now, and with little time. Hard to check e-mail but can every few days. Working hours are pretty crazy and long but we have a good crew.

Gotta run. Thanks for the message Karatebutcher.

Alan,

Just have a feeling you might be able to check in this weekend.

Hope things are going well for you and look forward to hearing from you.

CEF Net's are going well Issued CEF #274 last week & have added 7 New Ladies to the CEF Membership.

Poor KB keeps asking me to send him money for Pen's & Paper as he is making so many contact's on Sunday's.

He has lost 30lbs running back and forth from house (computer Chat Room) to radio room.

Stay Safe & Well.

Your Friend's.

You guys crack me up! :) Sounds like the NET continues to grow and that is great. Yes Lon I was able to get on a computer today, first in a while. Sometimes I have almost adequate access to the internet but have to come to this place for e-mail. I try to check it at least weekly but it never seems to be that often.

Things are well on my end, trying to save some money for new toys when I come home. Can we ever have enough toys? LOL! I could go crazy with all the things I want from Copper. I do plan on dropping some cash before I get home so maybe the items will arrive before I do. Man my wish list continues to grow....

I hope this Sundays NET is another success. It is already Sunday afternoon here. I am trying to work a scam where maybe I can try and tune in one of these days. Haven't been able to try any radios out so far but we have access to Military HF radios that cover many frequencies. It would be cool if it worked out and I actually made contact with some CEF members. I'll have to work on that one.

Thank you all for the kind words and support. You guys and gals are the best.

Alan,

We pray that you will return home safely soon!

Poor Karatebutcher is ageing soooo quickly with all of the contact's he has been making, so we NEED you back before they Lock him up in a LOONEY BIN.

He keeps saying WEST COAST NUT CONTROL HERE!
Anybody want to talk to me today?

OK, fun is over but please stay safe and well and you are in our thought's and prayer's.

Lon is out Plowing and has been out three times this week and have more snow coming Sunday.

Right now -4 and wind chill is -27.

Dr's have been trying a NEW COLD LASER on Lon to try and help but he has had no luck with it yet.

Dr's say they cannot do any more surgeries as they cannot control the blood flow.

Take care our friend and we hope to hear from you soon.

God Bless you Alan and We Thank you for serving and being there for our Country!

WE ARE PROUD OF YOU, AND WE DO APPRECIATE WHAT YOU ARE DOING!

We hope your family is also doing well.

Shirley & Lon
1st Sargant & Tech808

PS: Lon said over radio to tell you SEMPER FI!

He said you would know what he meant. And he felt you would be checking in again.

Thank you Shirley for the kind words. I wish the best for Lon with with the new treatments. I really hope they will benefit him sooner and better than expected!

My family is doing well at home and actually had some snow (8") a few weeks back but nothing like some of the harsher winter weather that you both (and many other forum members) have experienced this season. It was my dogs first snow and they had a blast along with the kids. From Texas, then Florida to Washington State, I think those dogs like the cooler weather, and the property to run and chase rabbits and chipmunkc keeps the going as well.

Speaking of going, Hey Karatebutcher, how much weight have you lost doing sprints from the radio room to the computer room on Sundays?? :) I read up on some of your contact list and man, my hat is off to you. That old bigstick sure is doing you a fine job! Shoot, I think you have contacted half the forum members it seems. That is awesome and I am happy to see the great success you are having. Fun isn't it?!?

Well I have to go for now. Please tell Lon a "Roger" on that Semper FI. I was just enjoying a few Barley Pops with some young Marines a few days ago. These guys would make him proud.

Yep, sure sounds like the war is wicked between the First Sargant and KB. Guess I'll have to come back and be a peacemaker LOL! Just remember, Shirley outranks him! he he he

I do have to hand it to that Karatebutcher though, man that guy makes some contacts on the Sunday Nets. I'll have to show him up when I get back and get things setup again (I hope I hope...).

Hal, that beef jerky sounds good. My brother sent me some venison jerky in January and it did not last long. Good stuff.

Hey KB, what meats and items/spices do you use to tendorize fajita meat. I can make them taste good, but never tender. I'm all ears.

Alsworld , fajita is not a section of beef, it is a cut of beef from a tender area of the beef its self, say to use Top Sirloin, Filet Mieon, cut at a slight angle across the grain, cut thin and evenly, then soak it in a store prepaired mix for a few days and you will have it, good and tender.

Hal is almost out of jerky meat and asked me if old Jerky woman (FS) would work, I did remind him that it would be to tough and sassy.

Hey everyone,

That is fantastic the old guy could remember that much information LOL! Just kidding KB :-). That is awesome. I better chase down and post a real congrats on his callsign in the proper post.

I should be coming home in about three weeks. They shortened our time so I have no complaints, just in time for fishing season to open. Better get the boat ready when I get home, but only after setting up all my mobile/base stuff first. Hopefully I'll be back on the NET by the end of April or 1st Sunday in May.
