Sometimes its the seller who's nuts. Recently I saw a book I needed for my MG on EBay with a starting bid $2 more than I could buy it in the shops. I offered teh guy 2/3 of shop price and he didnt even bother to reply. Well two weeks back he re-listed it with a start of 1/3 shop price ($10.00). I now own the book for that $10. His loss my gain. |

What does that amp have in it.........a SSB radio final? People pay $100 for a pride 100 mobile amp on Ebay. $250 for old style unused cobra 148s....even though the Texas Ranger 296 is the same radio. I have seen a well used Cobra 25 GTL with a swing kit sell for $100. I wouldn't blame the seller.........the buyer is the one who needs a lobotomy. |

spark What about ARC-5 radios WW2 transmitters and recievers we bought them NEW for $10 in the 60's there are 10's of thousands of them still out there .... like bc-348's and bc-342's. Still uneducated people bid them 348-342's up in to the hunderds of dollars and at best there junk. Ive even seen volines 465 mhz class b cb sets ILLEAGAL even to turn the thing on ( its a super regen reciver / transmitter modulated osculator transciver )...on ebay..... So i cant blame guys who get upset when they kick off a 2510 or 2950. Barum was right even if he never said it! |

Crafter, He didnt make a buck, he lost a few. CM I set a price I am prepared to pay (somewhere around 2/3 shop price) and I will not go pat that. Yes I loose a few items I'd really like or need but I don't watse money either. |
