I just got hold of an Adcom power amplifier that was in my nephew's Grandparents' basement. After a bit of cleaning, changing some fuses on the speaker protection and wiring it to the monitor output of my audio mixer, I was treated to a very pleasing listening experience. I want to use this amp for my main stereo. That's where Pyramid comes in. I'll need a pre-amp for it with one phono and at least 4 line level inputs. I'd like to stay under a $100 in the cost department. Pryamid has something that seems to fit the bill. To finally get to the question. Does anyone have experience with Pyramid audio gear? If so, how would you rate their gear in terms of signal to noise ratio, frequency range and distortion. I don't need hard numbers, just a good, bad, or otherwise. Thanks |
