I have my new Lincoln hooked up here and Im impressed. My problem is that its very quiet for a while, then the static will begin to pick up. Im not sure where the static is coming from but if I turn my other radio(TitanII hooked to the same power supply as the Lincoln)the static goes away and the Lincoln gets quiet again. After a while the static will return. Now if I go turn the TitanII off the static will go away. It just keeps happining like that. Its driving me nuts having to flip the radios on and off to get rid of the static. Both radios are hookes to the same 25amp supply. It is a pretty strong static that comes in....Strong enough that it will completly wipe out a fairly weak but readable station. Here is my setup...Lincoln-cheap meter-Skipper 300-I2K. The Titan is not hooked to any antenna at all...Its just hooked to the power supply as a backup. Any suggestions????
Thanks
Buck

Buck,
I'm no expert but, this sounds like something is going south inside the power supply, turning on the other radio suddenly draws more power from it and then it quiets back down for a while. (maybe a bad capacitor?) Also the voltage could be to high and it could be messing up the new radio. It really shouldnt be any higher than 14 volts. Hope this helps. Merry Christmas.
Keep us posted.
