i just got a workman SP-2000 and i was backing next to my shed to unload a tower (45 footer on a S10) and got into a treelimb now it is broke at the bottom where it mounts anyone know how to fix this problem ??? ill have pics of it soon !!!!!!

PS i was told to come get the tower that night or it was going for junk and it was kinda fun trying to haul it on the pipe rack !!!! LOL |

If it's a Rohn tower, buy a new bottom section of your choice.
Or, weld the base like I did with mine. It was cracked like me...
What is the panic? Am I missing something?? |

i guess i said it all wrong i broke my workman SP-2000 !!!!! the tower is ok |

If the threads are broke off(this happened to me w/108 whip),take it to a machine shop and have them bore out the threads and put a piece of 3/8x24 rod locktited in,or if it's broke above that take it to a welder who uses a mig/tig welder he'll fix you right up,you'll have discoloration from the heat but you'll be back on the air.Bigbob P.S. use stainless threaded rod. |

hey KIWIKID i fixed the tree problem and we cooked lots of hotdogs and even made smores !!!!
and BigBob ill have it fixed as soon as the shops opens on monday !!!!!!!!
