Ive noticed a trend were I live that the guys that run the I max 2000s all are loud as heck compared to the guys with the A99s. I know when i had mine up back in 1999(wish i still had it) i went from a s-6 to a s-9 talking to a guy that lived 18 miles away from me talking to him straightline. Why do the I maxx antennas seem to work so good? |

3885: You obviously haven't had the chance yet to check out the review of the COPPER IMAX 2000 done here by Tech833. It's in the Product review section. The bottom line is that it is a .64 wave antenna. I have one in addition to a 4 element Quad and I am sold on the COPPER IMAX 2000. |

Pretty interesting article id say. Overall it looks like a great antenna that id like to get.. I think ill get it local though since the shipping charges are high. I know a guy that can get me one for about 95.00 tax and shipping. |

Yeah its a .64 but advertised as a 5/8. Still better performance. |

Taz,.625 is 5/8,.64 is a tadd more. |
