MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL. For the past 2 years, I've failed to keep my New Year's Resolutions (Promises, Promises), to myself. This time, I'm going to get it right! "The 3rd time is the charm". Maybe I'll get rich, if I can keep these promises to myself, for myself. I now resolve to quit smoking, and to curb my spending, on the latest, and greatest CB equipment, parts, and gadgets available, for the year 2004. Finally, to all the forum members, techs, moderators, and forum master, all the luck, and success, in keeping your own resolutions, for the coming year 2004.
Wolverine.

You might be able to quit smoking but not buying radios.
Happy Holidays

Well....quiting smoking was easy. Smoked for 10yrs and quit cold turkey the day we found out my wife was pregnant....The radios are a different story.....RF is more addicting than Nicotine!!!!!

Sorry to be a wet rag, but I don't do NEW YEAR's resolutions. I failed sooooo many times, it's pitiful. So now I resolve to take one day at a time, and see what comes my way.

And as far as this radio hobby is concerned, I firmly believe a man/woman needs BALANCE in their life. That means not too much TV. Not too much work. Not too much reading. Not too much eating. Not too much radio..... WHAT AM I SAYING? WE CAN NEVER GET TOO MUCH RADIO!

TALKED TO AUSTRALIA YESTERDAY!!!

My old lady just resolved to spend more money, on her hands and feet, i.e., manicures, and pedicures. She claims that she needs that pampered feeling, to feel productive in her career (nursing). I think I need to get, that pampered feeling also (I don't mean diapers!) Buying just a few more CB toys, may be just what the doctor ordered, for that 2004 pampered feeling that I'm needing. Well, there goes one resolution out the window -AGAIN!!.

I have not really thought about it yet, lets see, Maybe to turn the scale back three lbs before getting on it, in the morning making my own side of the bed, maybe putting clear plastic to cover the entrance to my wifes cat"s box, maybe take down my sign in the car window that I am just a bad driver not an Orenital , I will have to think on this , Happy New Year

Mine is to slow down and take it easier and not to set the same standards for everyone else I set for myself. I'm an overachiever and overreacher. I will also continue to try to help others learn from my stupid mistakes I've made in the years past! Hang around and you could get smart at my expense. LOL!

Looks like a great year with lots of friends and good hobbies.

The best of the new year to copper and all the forum members.
