Foxracing,
Excellent choice. Now, about your TVI problem. Do you have your Antron 99 grounded with a good 8 foot grounding rod? Also it really pays to have good quality coax. Cheap coax will cause TVI. Anyway's, keep us posted on your progress and Happy New Year to you and yours.

Fox.....
Common sence can solve alot of problems getting your antenna as high as you can will cut down on TVI as will using a good coax..... Grounding might help it will not hurt The TVI filter on the output of that amp is also a good move Your doing well......
Now the leagal world .....Lets forget the amp...
The problem is cost ..... unless the concumer wants to spend $500 for a phone most phones will pick up strong transmitters as will the speakers hooked to a computer...... INTERNET? interferance thats a new one on me .... and good old TV overload .....again keeping price down ....

Its called part 15 The devices your talking about do not have protection under fcc laws "im going over the TV,COMPUTER,PHONE and INTERNET". The KEY here how many of these are RADIO receivers? only the TV is one ..... and its part 15 also.

Still you have to live near them so its probly not a good idea to run that linear durring the superbowl

Hey TopTen I have very good coax. Not the cheap stuff. I have the RG* the thick stuff. Only one year old though. And another question you have no may antanna is not grounded. I have it attacted to some pipe and at the end of the pipe I have a piece of flat steel welded to it with holes drilled in it and I have it lagbolted to the tree. So I thought the tree must be a better ground. And Bruce thanks I did not even think about the Superbolw but I will keep it in the back of my mind. Ever Have a Happy New Years.

Try to get the antenna above the power lines, they are good for carrying RF.

Foxracing,
Sorry but a tree just doesnt cut it, and Antron 99's tend to bleed pretty bad when running an amp with no ground. So it would be very prudent at this point to go ahead and ground that sucker. You can get everything you need at your local home improvement store. You bought the best equipment for your station, now is the time to go ahead and make it 100%. My station has three 8 foot grounding rods, no bleedover problems here (knock on wood) Happy New Year to you and yours...
