Good morning everyone. OK, I am going to Home Depot and buy 8' grounding rods. How far away do I put each one from the push up pole? How deep in the ground does each one go? 7', 7'6" or what?
Is it best to run the wire straight from each ground rod back to the push up pole? Or do you run a wire that makes a circuit and ties in just once to the pole?
This base station stuff is getting expensive huh! Thanks for the education.

Keith,

On Push up pole use 1 or 2 and palce as close to pole as possible.

On Mine I have just enough sticking up for Connector for wire or (Battery Cable "recommended") to pole. Maybe 1 1/2 Inch out of ground

If you use two rods Rods Run Bolt thru mast and connect both to same bolt.

A " HELPFUL TIP" buy a short 8 or 10 inch piece of gas pipe with a Screw on cap that will just fit over rod.

Makes pounding rod in a lot easier and does not flatten top of rod when pounding into ground.

Hope this helps.
