Hi KB, Gee, that's a good question. Mine is a Gold Line 1000 watt model and it is about 18 years old. I guess the only way to ruin it is to put to much power through it, or if it starts to corrode inside and causes a high swr. The most watts that were ever put through it was about 800, and that caused it to get a little warm but that is normal. So far so good |

UNLIKELY a filter will go bad not if its stored in a room with air now in a car trunk well all bets are off |

Is the Para-dynamics brand of tvi filter a good one? I have one and it seems like a tin box full of nothing. Any luck with these? mikefromms |

Well, over the years I have probably sold well over a 1000 of them and never had any complaint's or any returned. Just my 2 cents worth. Lon |
