Sup my fellow trash talkin junkies!! lol
just got my new 68xl and ss 102'' whip.
i wanna throw the poloy 250 on ther but what do i need to adjust to get the best swing?
right now the radio is stock and ive had some good compliments on it already. but i wanna put alittle heat on the feet!!

I received this from another source so try it at your own risk


remove jp36. install a 470uf 25 volt cap in it's place with the negative side toward the final. where that solders in, bridge a 100 ohm resistor. Tune the 3 output cores and adjust vr4 for audio. you'll have a 1 watt carrier swinging to 18watt. Use a 47 ohm resistor instead of the 100 ohm if not using an amp this will raise your deadkey somewhat

this is for a cobra 25 or 29 everything is the same exept jp36 is labeled something else can't remember for sure what it is but its the jumper directly in front of the final, just beside the heat sink
