I would like some opinions on what my tower may be worth, money wise. I am considering listing it for sale it in the local newspaper. Brand unknown. 60Ft Self standing, Stamped steel galavanized, Rotor Plate, Great condidtion, No bolts included. However, it requires 56 bolts/nuts 1/2 inch diameter by 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 inch long. Base section has wide stance, approx 2 Ft. between legs. Thanks, Kattracker |

About $500-$600 here in California. Most of the 50ft Rohn 25 (Guy wires required) go for around $350-$450 used. It sounds similar, but self standing. You should be able to sell it pretty quick for $450. The galvanized bolts and nuts are not cheap. |

Rohn 25 goes for about 50-60 a section here in NM. I think 500. would be a fair price for both parties, since the hardware is not with it. |

$500.00 is wayyyyyyy too much!! More than likely you will NOT sell it. For that price it will sit and rust away before anyone will pay that kind of buckage.. I know i wouldnt!! I once bought a 65' commerica tower off a guy once for 175.00. It was all made from angle iron steel and stainless and galvanised. I never put it up so i sold it for less than what i paid for it.. |

I brought 3 intermediate sections of 25G new (but stored outside for another tower that didn't get built) for $240. The top section cost $100 from the local distributor. Thats about $350 for a new 25G tower - 40 footer. |

kattracker, It all depends on what people want to give for it. Around here Towers and Complete setups go CHEEP! And a lot of people will give them to you Free for taking them down. Below is a link to an ad that was on e-Bay last week and the guy lived 35 miles away. 7 Element Beam, Tower, Rotor, Control Box, Coax and Hinge plate for Tower went for $157.50. http://cgi.aol.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3067802428&category=48692&rd=1 At the price he sold it for a person could of driven 200 miles to pick it up and saved a fortune. We have so many Used towers around here I generally only give $10.00 a section and that is if it is in Good Shape and I take it down. Lon Tech808
