Just read in January 2004 Popular Communications that there is a CB Radio World Championship that will run from 2 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday January 17 to 2 p.m. eastern time on Sunday January 18th. There's only ONE rule: Make as many contacts as possible.
May be a rough weekend? |

You have to "sign up" on a web site first, apparently like COPPER. Then participate. It's connected to YAHOOGROUPS, whatever that is?
Sounds like a good weekend to read...

I just thought of something: If this Championship contact thing happens on the weekend of Jan-17-Jan 18 might be a good opportunity to get more members. Fourmaster and moderators we need to know what to say to new contacts and who to get in touch with. This could be a big deal if it happens. It has to be on channel 13 lsb or (27.115lsb) We as Cef members need to know what to say and to who to refer the info to. Also if this championship dose happen it could go in overload and burden some members. Im just full of ???? Just in case . Thanks
