I mean like with a transceiver? and pick it up with regular am car radio? if so what type of radio can you do it with? Thanks in advance@@@ |

youd have to get a 160 meter ham rig and modify it to transmit below 1700 khz. theres lots of old boatanchors that can be modded by crystal swap, VFO modification or whatever. just remember 1/4 wave is above 100' on top end of AM band so you need a BIIIG antenna to get out good. note: FCC's part 15 limits state 100milliwatts input power into the final, and into an antenna/feedline no more then 10' long. they really make it difficult to get out legally and with good audio bandwidth with that. there are plenty of assemble it yourself kits and complete units out there that are in compliance of part 15 regs if you want a challenge of going the legal way. |
