I just went to the website and it says "THIS RADIO WILL COME TO YOU ALREADY PEAKED AND TUNED AT NO EXTRA CHARGE." Darn it! I wanted to do it! Someone else had ALL THE FUN!! Believe it or not I'm actually upset, If I wanted it modified by a pro I would have paid extra. But I really only wanted to up the AM modulation only, seriously. I was OK with 50 watts power, I dont want to over-drive the radio. And what the heck was Q39 revoved for? Can someone please tell me?? See the problem is I dont have an antenna yet and its going to be a while too before I get it, now I'll never know if it is broken somehow for a while. The only indication that I am the first owner is that all the parts and peices that came with the radio were factory sealed.. Rob Liguori (Creator)

HMMMMMMMMMM, Sounds to me like you should of Bought it from Copper at a Lower price and then you would not have all the problem's. We also do NOT allow post's to contain links to other Web Sites that carry the same product's as Copper. Hope you get it straightened out. Lon Tech808 |

I completely agree competition is good for everyone Especially Copper Customer's. That is why I like Copper Electroincs as the Forummaster will beat any Advertised price on an item of a competitor. And the Lowest Price makes Copper Customer's Very Happy and also helps the Copper Forum to continue to grow. |

I must say though (and not to brag) over the past 12 years ive been buying radio equip most of my purchases have been from Copper. I hate to pay a retail CB rip off shop 50 to 75 markup more ( I like to hear them whine and moan when i say "Oh, well i can get that item from Copper cheaper" and then hear them go "boo, hoo, hoo, i cant compete with their prices") for an item when i can get it cheaper on here. Yeah some things ill buy local like little stuff like coax connectors, mike plugs, and other stuff but the big stuff like radios and antennas i try to get as cheap as i can ... and usually I get them from copper. Sometimes yeah the local CB guy will break me a deal for somethings that i dont want to wait for when i order but I usually pay 5 to 10.00 more in the end than Copper. |
