I agree Spark.....I can remember seeing a radio (in the rearview mirror) come out a guys window once....Man those were the good ol days of self-enforcement. Sounds like just the ticket for this guy

Thanks for posting that Buck,
It's iresponsible fools like him that give us all a bad name, and make people decide that they want nothing to do with a radio hobby. This guy needs his clock punched. I shut down someone like that here in Jax about 20 years ago one time. What I did was park my old truck a few houses away from his house and kept keying up on his recieve and eventually shut him down for the night with my SS3900 and my Gray 150 splatter box on, he got the message and backed down.  |

Spark part 15 rules say you can use your LEAGAL cb any time you want and if you interfer with a phone or tv o'well but how many LEAGAL cb sets interfere with them ..... not many ..... hey do you think he could spair a few hunderd grant lt sets for the guys on this forum ..... maby we should ask ...... |

Hey Buck
The same thing happened here in my home town a few years back.
This guy had a Browning golden eagle base and a moon racker ant with an amp that kept his radio room so warm he had to have a fan on all the time.
Any way when he started to talk on it every tv and phone with in 10 blocks were messed up.
To make a long story short the FCC showed up took every thing and left a ten thousand dollar fine. *ouch*
But the guy was such a A**.

You got that right Leonard....There is a local here that does nothing but harass the truck drivers on 19....I mean NOTHING,All Day and All Night, I dont know if he ever sleeps. He is a moron. I cant believe someone dosent pay him a visit. He dosent bother me because I an never on 19 anyway

IMHO the guys that act like A- Holes on the air to everyone and use foul cuss words and do nothing positive for CB radio need to get their stuff taken away.. I hate CBers that are abusive, rude, obnoxious and do nothing but cause problems and every other word out of their mouth is a cuss word. I myself try to be pretty decent on the air because in the back of my mind i think "There is someone out there listening". If someone askes for a break i give it to them, If a next door neigbor says im going through their stuff (very very rarely does this happen to me) i help them out, If someone askes for help on their radio stuff i help them. I guess im old fashioned but I try to be as polite on the air as i can be and i also can be a cut up on the air as well when i want to be!!!! |
