does anyone know the life of a rotor i have one it's about ten year old how long do they last for |

mine went from 1968 and is still working if you dont overload then they will last a long time. My rotor only was turning a 5 elm 2 meter beam for years and when it was on the tower in the 70 turned a pair of 220 antennas and a 4 elm 6 meter beam ... 1975-86 now its being regreased i havent had time since i took it down to finsh that and put it and the beam back up if i remember right its a TR-44. |

I bought a used rotor and control ( the old bakelite plastic control box) once at a yard sale that was bought new in 1957 and it still worked up until i sold it like 8 years ago!!!! |

i have a rack shack i made a suport bearing that attach to the both masts i use it with a shoot star it work fine with no problem i was thinking about puting up a new one or rebuilt the old |

The one on my house for the TV antenna is now 20+ years with no issues and it sits here taking the punishment of these harsh NH winters. |
