If an operator has a radio that is known to have a clipped limiter in it,....

Can one put the limiter back in the radio without having to re-align the entire radio again?

Thanks

hummmmmmm? part 15? more like part 95. Crafter is right radio alignment should not be effected and the radio will sound cleaner.

you shouldn't have to realign the whole radio, but you may have to realign the amc. many times the amc is jacked wide open. when there still isn't enough swing, the limiter is then 'clipped'. so you may put the limiter back in and still have an overmodulated radio.
