I HAVE A MODEL 90 VFO I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF I CAN USE IT WITH SOME OR ALL OF MY RADIOS GRANT XL,PRESIDENT ZACHARY T,ROBYN SB520D,COBRA 139XLR,ROYBN T123B,TEABERRY T DISPATCH IF SO HOW DO I USE IT AND HOW DO I HOOK IT UP IT HAS NO CRYSTALS IN IT AND ON A TAG INSIDE IT SAYS 16 MHZ THANKS BILL

ok need to know witch one you have they all have numbers on the back in the upper right hand corner.....i have one on my cobra 135 but its a

There should be a large number on the back,I think 1 thru 6.This indicates the cap setup for different radios.This number on mine is in the top right hand corner.You can change the cap setup with with the aide of a book.I bought one off EBAY. May be able to download it from siltronix site.

I have the book from Ebay,It lists the Cobra 139 as needing VFO # 5,Robyn 747 & 747a require # 1,do not know if this will work on your Robyn,none of the other rigs you listed are in the book.The number refers to the capacitor setup.The VFO can be changed to make it any number.The book explains what is required and how to hook it up to your rig.For the legal begals,attaching a vfo to a CB rig could cause you to transmit illegally.Hope this helps

I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE FOR ALL THE E MAIL AND HELP WITH THIS VFO I LEARNED A GREAT DEAL OF INFO ON THEM AND ABOUT THE 16 MHZ MOD 90 I THINK WITH THE RIGHT RIG IT WOULD BE A GREAT ADD ON I OWN TO MANY RADIOS NOW SO I THINK I WILL LIST THIS ON EBAY AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS I NEVER SOLD ON EBAY WE SHALL SEE AGAIN THANKS YOU HAVE ALL HELPED THANKS BILL
