As there are still 6 days left on that item, I'm sure it will bring a fair amount of money. Keep an eye on it. |

A Lincoln and a HR2600 are two different radios. The ad sounds a little screwy! |

HR2600 is a decent radio, I bought mine new for $199 (a long time ago). The T/R switch is a little slow if you plan to use it for contesting, and the receive has lots of birdies, otherwise it is OK. Dan |

I read the add more closely so I guess contesting is out (only +/-11, no 10 meters). You can always "chipswitch" if you have a ham license. Dan |

A 2600? Hmmmmm....Then the question is "Why did he list it as a Lincoln?" I smell something rotten. False advertising!! |

well at least you dont run the risk of transmitting up on the 10 mtr ham band if you are unlicensed |

OH Please why is it that someone gets a radio that will tx other than 11meters do people assume that it is going to be used for "unlicensed xmit?? Let others decide for themselves!! |

Well the picture is of a Lincoln and the ad says Lincoln, but then the pictures look like ad pictures and not of the real rig.Think I will pass.Got that line..."Selling for a friend" |

He has added to description. Only reads out on 28 & 29 mhz. It is a un-converted HR2600, hard to convert without having Chipswitched! |

Barefoot, you may be right.......I find alot of that on eBay....People find items at a garage sale or what not and have no clue what it is but know they can make money on it by selling it on eBay. |

Well Very Simple, IT IS ON THE EBAY BANNED RADIO LIST! On a 7 day add it never stood a chance of the auction being completed and Now the Person Who Listed it has also been warned if not already suspended for listing it. Lon Tech808 |
