There's a simple to win your bidding on ebay. I do it all the time...
NEVER BID until the last minute of the item bid ending. When you bid in the early stages, all youre doing is starting a bidding war. DONT DRIVE THE PRICE UP! Remember the computer bids for you by proxy..If you bid your highest bid at the last minute, time will run out and the bidding will end before the computer proxy has time to add a higher bid by another buyer. And it may not even bid your highest price..The computer will bid one bid increment above the current highest bid
I've wone alot of stuff like this

That is called 'sniping'. The easiest way to do this is with a sniper service like esnipe.

http://www.esnipe.com

It has its plusses and minuses.

Guess I have been in the dark ! Esnipe ! No wonder the junk on EBay is over priced. I have noticed alot of complaints about nonpayers and relists due to buyers not paying.Could this help with the problem. My problem is not getting outbid at the last minute, but equipment bid way past any reasonable level. Most of the rigs are selling at top dollar then you start the repairs to make them into something. Point in case is the price of Browning Mark III and IV,these rigs are old enough that the filter caps need to be replaced before putting them into service.Depending on how you go about that ,I buy custom caps to match the orginal values there goes another 100.00 bucks.Oh well maybe I should stop complaining and join the sellers !!! Gee how about " I do not anything about this radio selling for a friend".No returns !
