A friend just gave me this unit,(said it's in working order) with an old Astatic 636L Silver Eagle and I dont know anything about the base unit...tell me anything you know!

Whats to say top of the line cobra base radio not made anymore they bring 250-300 on e-bay AM LSB USB and mod fairly well for extra channels. Probally on of the best radios ever produced.
