The Galaxy web site says it will do 50 watts AM/FM and 150 watts on SSB. I don't know much about the 95T as I don't own one,but I love my 93T.

the 50w listed for am mode is for carrier power not peak power. the actual peak power is 150w just like ssb. both ssb and am peak power can be raised to 200w or slightly less with a good tuning.

Wow, could you tune me one like that Tech8541?
What an amazing radio with a big meter and all! Got to have that big meter. My major gripe with Lincoln.

yes i can, but i am not at the copper retail location. i'm sure that if you buy one from copper, that you will get it that way. just don't forget to check the box for the peak and tune or else you definitely will not.

many do not know this but the built on amp is -VERY, VERY- similar to the texas star 250.

Hmm which is more powerful the 95T or the Ranger 2970 DX???? I have the 2970 DX and i never have gotten better reports from my mobile!! Ive been able to talk almost everywere i want with that 2970!!! Even if it is a SMT radio (just traded off my 2995 for a RCI 2980 and a 2527 just because i can tinker on em!) and i dont like them it talks like a champ!!!!
