On my KL300-P I have a SSB and AM switch. I assume I should be running it in AM for the regular 40 channel CB, correct? Will running the KL300-P in SSB cause any problems or will it make any difference at all?
Sorry for so many questions.
Thanks.
Mark

If you are Talking / Useing AM have the Switch on the AMP set to AM.

If you are Talking / Useing SSB have the Switch on the AMP set to SSB.

You can Talk AM or SSB on all 40 Channel's as the Channels have nothing to do with weather you are Talking AM or SSB.

PLEASE go to the Subscriber (Preview) area on the Forum here, then Scroll down until you see the Article titled: KL300P Mobile Amplifier.

Read Tech "181"'s Review on this Great little Amplifier. He spent a lot of time writing this review and testing it, and it should answer all of your question's.

Hope this help's.
