I have my Antron99 mounted on top of my building 100' off the ground. Because of the wind factor I'm going to have to re-mount it to a concrete pillar 20' over. This will mean adding another 20' feet of coax across the roof to reach the pillar. will this cause a noticable difference in performance? |

100 feet huh? Boy, I sure would love to get mine up there that high but I get the jitters enough crawling up my 35 footer!

about 8yrs ago I had a MR4 on top of 10 sections of Rohn 25g,3 sets of guys all located on a large open hill.talk about scary even on a calm day!needless to say my insurance guy convinced me that 40 feet was suitable.Of 2 300+ foot runs of Columbia Silverflex rg8 over 200' were run horz with no ill effect |

It will work fine. Just try, if you can, to keep the coax from laying anywhere that will accumulate puddles of water. |

Also drop the first 9ft vertical. It helps reduce any coupling from the antenna onto the outside of teh coax's sheath. |
