Could someone please provide the tune and peak for this rig?

Also, does the Expander 100 kit work well for extra channels on this radio?

Thank you!

Xlaxx I'll have the answer tomorrow on the mail question is that a upd2824 PLL? It could be one of two. Phillipines means good one though!
P.S. no need to clip the diode on that one opening vr4 is enough.

Thank you for the replies.
Was trying to set up this radio and was told that cutting the limiter would make it a little better but didn't want to do it.
Seems that replacing the 2SC1969 makes a difference on this radio.
Was told 16-18W max.
Anyway, thank you for the tips!

I had one a few years ago and had my CB shop guy do the big final and driver mod and it talked up a storm afterwords.. Non need to cut the limiter it talks great with it in place as it is!! Although i did remove it to see what it would do with the limiter gone.. no difference on the meter so i soldered it back in place!

Xlaxx,

Sorry, can't help you with that one.

I have found it is much more reasonable in Price and more power if you add a KL40 / KL60 or KL300 than replacing the Driver and Upgrading the Final.

Depending on the amount of power you are looking for.

On the PC 76/78 I alway's Suggest and use a KL-300 on them.

I had mine changed from the stock setup to the 1969 and it made a huge diference.. About 20 to 25 watts more swing from the stock wattage.
