I purchased a PRO-2067 from a radioshack that i was working at a few months ago. It has a few problems that I don't like. For example, it locks onto a dead channel (eg. 39MHz freqs) and will picket fence terribly. As well as a problem with EDACS reception. I really like this scanner otherwise, any ideas as far as fixing this problem. PS. also has a RS 800MHz rubber duck antenna on it

What problem are you having with EDACS reception?

The VHF-LO band where your 39 mhz freqs are is a noisier band than VHF-High and UHF, so you might just have to lock whatever frequency it is stopping on.

The problem with 39 MHz could be a birdie freq.
