I have a RCI-2970 that I love to death, with 1 exception. When the radio gets warm, if I turn off then want to turn it back on, it will not receive or transmit. I have to turn it on and off repeatadly and quickly before it will start transmitting and receiving again. I have been through this radio and cannot figure out what the issue is... a cold solder maybe? Anyone have any input or ideas? Your help is appreciated. |

hey tim. i just read your profile and saw the "JELD-WEN CUSTOMER SERVICE", and it jumped out at me. i work at the mt.vernon window and door plant,in vinyl patio doors. they changed their name about a year ago, but i still call it Wenco. aj |
