Ive never owned a 2950, but, I do own a Lincoln. You can't go wrong with a Lincoln. Superb tx and rx. One of the best ssb rigs I've ever owned. If you're into ssb, I would choose a Lincoln over the 2950. I have heard both on the air and the Lincoln sounds far better on ssb than the 2950. But, then, this just my opnion...... |

Hmmmm, both good radios. Personal preference I guess, I would have a hard time choosing too. Although I am partial to the Lincoln. Gotta lean in the direction of the Lincoln! |

I've owned several of each radio. Currently have a 2950DX & 2 Lincolns The Lincoln has better receive and gets better reports on SSB. You would be very happy with a new Lincoln from Copper |

Well from what ive used and heard, the 2950 has excellent tx, and the Lincoln has great ears. If they made a 2950 and a lincoln mix I would buy 2 of them. |

I run a lincoln and a 2970 (old style) side by side on a daily basis. and can say I like them both. If you only use ssb. the lincoln is great but if you want a great am rig the 2970 or 2950 will blow the lincoln away. If you want swing its a no brainer old style red display 2970 or 2950. This is not to say that the 2950 or 2970 havent been mistaken for a kenwood or some other high end rig on ssb. I'm not bashing the lincoln but if I could only have one the 2970 is more versatile. luckly I'm not left with that choice and own and use the both. |
