Bizzo8787,

If you order the 95T ask to Speak with the COPPER Tech and MAKE SURE that you Mention that you will be using the Radio with an Amplifier.

Also tell him What Kind of Amplifier you will be using it with and the DEAD KEY POWER that you need the Radio Set To for the Amplifier.

If you have a LOW DRIVE AMPLIFIER you may NOT be able to use the 95T with it.

Cm3885,

The Texas Star 500 shows:

OUTPUT POWER with 4 watt's input = 250

Approx Power Output with 20 watts input / Approx. Max Currant = 500W / 45Amps

Information from: www.texasstar.com/export/specifications.html

Hope this help's.

Cm3885,

Well, I cannot say which they are talking about.

If I were to "guess" I would say Dead Key NOT Carrier Watts as they mention Between 4 and 20 Input.

That information came from the Texas Star Web Site Listed above.

it doesn't really matter, watts are watts. the only difference is in the device measuring those watts. if 20w of carrier power gives 500w then so does 20w of pep power. you will only see a difference if you are using an rms meter instead of a peak meter.
