just got a used 142 and i have an issue....the radio has been modified.....AM works fine as long as the clarifier is at 7 oclock......problem is i cannot clarify anyone in on sideband.....is their a quick fix to this problem....

sounds like the radio needs an alinement.. an the vco needs one to...sorry no quick fix...
