Hello everyone,What's the difference between the rci 2990 and the rci 2990DX.Is it the frequency range?Do they have the same board? Is $450+ shipping a good price for a used in good shape rci 2990?

Thanks in advance

The 2990 uses the older ranger board and the DX series uses that imfamous SMT board..
450.00 is too much to pay for that radio IMHO...
I sold mine for 325.00 a year ago to get the new 2995 and what a mistake that was!! IMHO the 2990 was better..
