Just wanted to drop a line here and say thanks to 8541 for the great job he did on my radio. Had a channel guard to install on my 2985dx..tried to do it myself and thought I might have ruined the radio (got scarred when I seen the inside of the sardine can in the receive section). Receive was way down after reassembly. 8541 fixed that and installed the kit for me. Now it really is works great!! Super job on the alignment also!!
