my cobra 148 gtl needs a new face plate its old and worn out.where can i buy a new one?anyone? |

Freebird: I take it you are speaking of the Cobra 148GTL and not the new model. Try calling Cooper, they may can tell you how to get in touch with Cobra Electronics in Chicago, Cobra might still have a faceplate for the 148GTL, If all else fails the Uniden Grant XL is identical to the 148GTL. At a quick glance it's hard to tell one from the other with the exception of the channel knob, on the other hand my Uniden Grant XL has the Cobra channel knob on it, (easier to grab on to). Yankee |

isn't the grant have the rounder edges on it... not like the 148 which is square? |

Bulldog369: yes, the GrantXL has the rounded corners, but other than that the two face plates will go on either radio. Yankee |
