just picked up the new magnum omega force. does anyone know how to disasemble the mic board that is in the radio? it is a flat mic but the mic is actually amplified on a board inside the radio...makes it pretty tough to use my d-104. also was wondering if there is a way to turn the power down (swing power). it dead keys 2 watts and swings to 35 out of the box but i have already blown 3 amp fuses because the amp doesn't appear to like it - hygain footwarmer. thanks.

BTOshm,

GO to the Subscriber (Preview)area here on the Forum.

Then CLICK on: Product Reviews

Then CLICK on: Magnum S-3 Review

This should answer all of your Question's on Amplifier Use with the MAGNUM Omega Force S-45 and the MAGNUM S-3.

The information there is DIRECT from Mr. Lewis.

The Mic Board is the TOP GUN MODULATOR BOARD it was Designed for use in the New Magnum Radio's.

You can get as much out of the Stock mic as you can with a D104.

My Suggestion it DO NOT MESS with it, as it is more than just a Mic Board.

I own both the S-45 and the S-3 and they both have everything the d-104 could give you.

If you become a Registered Member you will have access to the Manufacturer's Area.

There we have Mr. Sam Lewis (OWNER of RF Limited and MAGNUM International) to answer any question's that we are unable to help you with.

Hope this help's.
