Sorry you have problely seen this question 100 times.I was looking into buying a new setup.I know that I will use the wilson 100 mag mount.And was thinking about adding kl-200p amp. What radio would work well with this setup.Im looking to spend $50-$100. We just need 40 ch.

a dx-949 is one of the better radios for a serious cber.

The Cobra 25 and the Cobra 29 are both descent radios for under $100. Drop the carrier back to 1.5-2 watts and you're off and runnin.

Trashman, when ordering your new radio tell them what amp you are going to use with it and they will tune it accordingly.
