These are refered to as "FROG LEGS" and the are getting harder to find as each day pass's...LOL...I have One and would love to have a few more myself. I seen one go last week on E-bay, no mic just the leg...it brought a whooping $61 just for the leg. This item was originally priced at $15.99 when Astatic sold them... I find them quite nice and nastalgic to have..I personally do not like the dual key d-104s at all. I have had nothing but trouble with them, even ones I have bought brand new...Good luck and if you get swamp'd with people wanting to sell you some, Please by all means let me know. I have several friends(handicap'd) who are also in "need" of this item... Thanks and God Bless,

J-38.. probably ham stuff...
Anyhow, those froglegs are pretty rare were I live. Ive only seen a few here and there and the owners wouldnt sell them. I personally dont care for them but i guess to each their own. I always hold the neck of a D 104 and hold the head about 3" from my mouth when I speak so i never hardley use the foot petal...

Simple you called the D-104 added switch a keyer and keyers are used to generate code. The switch on a mike is normaly called a PPT .... in the case of this one it even RESEMBLES a code key. I just had some fun with this ....." My key is faster than your key" .... I have 2 d-104's both never even used they dont work with my new radios and the added PPT lever is interesting.
