Just found out that Tech 307 is no longer
involved with coper. Why?
Even with the problem I had with my Lincoln , he
was the one who figured it out and fixed it.
( not to metion he smoothed the road between
aggrivated people.)So, I'm wondering as to what happen. |

I personally spoke with 307 for an hour on the phone yesterday.
He requested that if this question came up to simply reply that he Resigned / Quit.
(NOTE!) these are His EXACT Word's not mine or Copper's).
He was NOT asked by Copper Electronic's or it's Owner's to Leave and was NOT Fired from Being a Copper Moderator.
This was a Personal Decision / Choice that he made to leave Copper Electronics and the Copper Forum.
We received a Note stating that 181 and 307 No Longer wished to be Associated with Copper Electronics.
A Post was then made in the Announcement Section per the Request we Received from 181.
This was a PERSONAL choice made by 181 & 307 not by Copper Electronic's.
It is not Copper Electronic's Place or Policy to discuss someone's Personal Choices that they make.

auuuuuwwww what the heck. I can understand his leaving. But I'm sure his leaving will not hurt this forum. People come and people go. It's a never ending cycle.
We'll be alright. There are plenty of other dedicated Techs here. Some of us have credentials and some of us don't. Experience means much more to me than a plaque hanging on the wall.
Example...How often does a question go unanswered on this forum? Well, they do but rarely. There isn't a certified tech on this planet that knows it all anyways.
Here's another way to look at this. So far "WE" (meaning every one of us) have been able to handle just about anything that has been thrown at us. In other word, what one doesn't know, someone else usually will. How do we learn anything by NOT asking questions? That's what we're ALL here for---ALL OF US!! We're here to learn! We're here to share!
Now, lets get back to work and fun.
Man, is this a KICKBUTT forum or what??

I would suggest that if you want to know why 307 is no longer here, I feel that you ask him. he is the one that knows and if he thinks you need to know he will tell you. As for anyone telling anybody who they can or cannot talk to, I must have overlooked that post, but of course there is always the few that try to make something out of nothing. This is a great forum with great people and lets keep it that way. Chill out and enjoy all the good stuff you can learn or get help with. I emailed him a while back and he appears to be doing just fine.. Why all the fuss over why he quit? Looks to me he quit on good terms. Oh well, LOL, life goes on! |

well if who ever had posted my post had posted the whole thing others might have known why i said that... but the way i read it it sounded like coppers didnt want us talking to thim.. i was just tryen to find out, i was not tryen to say any thing i asked a ? thats all. |

Well this is a good place to post this I guess.
Well the Grandchildren came to visit the other day, ages 5 and three, well they were playing with the Play Doe that we got them, well I was not watching them to closely but they made some really neat looking cookies, and put them on a plate and put them in the Ice Box, well along came Grandpaw the next day and yes I guess you know, I ate them all, well go ahead and laugh if you want but the joke is on you, I POOPED the best Ashtray I ever saw.
