I have a tower of 35 ft and as of now im useing a i max 2000. But was thinking about the maco m103c or the avq2-Quad what does everyone think of the change or should i keep what i have. (there is nothing wrong with my imax just trying to upgrade alittle) |

Rich_1833 the advantage of a beam like the m103 would be increased gain in 1 direction and the ability to reduce interference from another station.I would not use a beam alone.use the imax to locate a station and switch to the beam after you know where to aim.adding a beam to your station would be a positive upgrade.about the differences between the m103 and avq2 quad, both have there advantages.and different people have their prefrences, myself would go with the m103. |

Rich_1833 That's excellent advice from Dindin. And as far as the two mentioned beams go, personally, I would opt for the M-103. Jeff. |
