There's a town close to lincoln, nebraska called hallam and they were totally destroyed with an F4 tornado about a week back. Only one house was left standing out of a population of around 275 people. I took a drive down there and saw power lines busted right at the base and literally pushed back in the ground about 15 feet from where it was originally at. Very tragic but there's a lot of people volunteering and red cross group efforts pitching in for food, money(funds) etc. It's amazing to see how many people are pitching in to do their part. Here's a link to some pictures of that area that got hit.

We got lucky here in the northern part of the Hoosier.
I live in nothern Indiana and there were several tornado sightings and such but no touchdowns.
Now down south that was different! 15 minutes after the Indy 500 was over(finished early because of a thunderstorm in the area) there was a tornado that touched down 1.5 miles away from the track! It sent people scrambling for cover anywere they could as sirens wailed. Also, a town in southern Indiana called Marengo was just about wiped out. Man im glad its over..
