I had a question about the Kenwood TS-520S maybe someone can help me out?

On the fixed frequency operation... I was wanting to know more about the available crystals that could plug into the Crystal oscillator circuit (C-O-C).

Has anyone modified the TS-520S for any 11 meter RX/TX for SSB? I have the formulas and found a supplier for the crystals but wanted to know if the crystals would plug into the C-O-C board, and has anyone performed this modification before?

I am mostly interested for the frequency of the CEF nets in general.

Thanks!

Geekster,

Sorry I cannot help you with this one.

You might get better feedback / info if you re-post this question in the Ask The Tech Area under Ham Gear

We have a lot of Forum Members who do not read the Open Area and may miss your post/question.

It should work as the Australian 520 had 11m in some of them. At the time 11m was still a ham band.
